BIDDEFORD, Maine — As extreme winds continue in southern Maine, municipalities are asking residents to desist from outside burning.
"NO OUTSIDE BURNING: With the winds and continued dry conditions today is a VERY HIGH fire danger day," the Biddeford Fire Department wrote in a social media post Wednesday. "There will be no outside fires allowed. Stay safe!"
