Franklin County deputies seek suspect in domestic disturbance

Deputies responded to reports of a domestic disturbance in Phillips on Saturday night after the Auburn man allegedly fled the scene.

PHILLIPS, Maine — The Franklin County Sheriff's Office is searching for a suspect in an alleged domestic disturbance following an incident at a Phillips home Saturday morning.

Franklin County law enforcement responded to a report of a domestic disturbance on Patridge Road in Phillips at about 11:10 a.m. Saturday after the suspect reportedly fled, according to a Tuesday news release from the sheriff's office. 

Following an investigation, the sheriff's office obtained a warrant to arrest 44-year-old Jacob Pendexter of Auburn on the following charges: 

  • Class B domestic violence aggravated assault 
  • Class E violating conditions of release
  • Class D domestic criminal threatening
  • Class D obstructing report of a crime 
  • Class D criminal restraint.

Authorities are asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of Pendexter to call the Franklin County Sheriff's Office at 207-778-6140.
