Crash closes road in West Bath

Power lines were down on a part of State Road Monday morning, according to officials.

WEST BATH, Maine — A crash Monday morning in West Bath closed a section of State Road while crews responded to the area.

The section of State Road between Fosters Point Road and Bull Rock Road was closed as of noon Monday, according to a social media post by the Sagadahoc County Emergency Management Agency.

The crash also downed powerlines, according to emergency officials, and drivers were asked to avoid the area. 

Officials on scene did set up a detour route, which was shared on social media.
