PORTLAND, Maine — Fire crews were on scene of a crash involving a box truck that hit part of a hotel in Portland Monday evening.
NEWS CENTER Maine was on the scene as crews responded to The Hilton Garden Inn on Jetport Boulevard in Portland. It appears the truck hit the awning in front of the hotel's entrance.
Nobody was hurt, but an engineer was called in to assess the damage and make sure the building was structurally sound, according to a member of the Portland Fire Department at the scene.
The truck belongs to Greencare Landscaping Management out of Scarborough, according to officials.
