Boil water order issued for Gray Water District consumers

GRAY, Maine — A boil water order has been issued for consumers of the Gray Water District.

Gray Fire Rescue posted on social media that the order was put in place due to unsafe water.

Consumers are advised to boil water for one minute before drinking, making ice cubes, brushing teeth, washing foods, or any other activity that involves water consumption, according to the post.

The order will remain in effect until further notice.
