BAR HARBOR, Maine — The body of a man from New Hampshire was recovered Thursday at Clark Cove in Bar Harbor.
The Maine Marine Patrol and Maine State Police Underwater Recovery Team recovered the body of Gregory Taylor, 20, at about 6 p.m. after a witness reported seeing a man swimming in the cove in distress, the Maine Department of Marine Resources said in a news release.
According to the release, his body was taken to a local funeral home.
The Bar Harbor Police Department, the Bar Harbor Fire Department, the Mount Desert Fire Department, the Trenton Fire Department, and the Hancock County Sheriff's Office also responded.
No additional details were released.
