BANGOR, Maine — Bangor police are working to reconstruct and investigate a fatal crash with a pedestrian in which a local woman was struck by a vehicle Monday night.
Police said the crash occurred around 10 p.m. on Union Street near the Hermon town line. When police arrived, they discovered the body of 22-year-old Bangor resident Gabrielle Pariseau near the roadway.
Police said in a news release Tuesday afternoon that the driver of the vehicle involved in the crash was cooperating fully in the investigation, though their identity was not released.
The crash remains under investigation.
