GREENVILLE, Maine — Greenville police and fire officials responded to a truck flipped over on a local soccer field early Thursday morning.
Officials arrived at the Greenville Consolidated School soccer field around 6:15 a.m. and found an unoccupied truck flipped over onto its roof, the Greenville Police Department said on social media.
Following an investigation, police determined that 22-year-old Charles Martin of Bangor had driven the truck onto the field causing "significant damage" and flipped over around 9:50 p.m. Wednesday, according to police.
Police said Martin is cooperating with the investigation and has been charged with aggravated criminal mischief, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, and driving to endanger.
The truck was towed from the field with "extensive damage."
