AUGUSTA, Maine — The Walmart in Augusta was evacuated briefly Sunday after a bomb threat was apparently found in a bathroom, according to Augusta Police Department Lt. Anthony Drouin.
Drouin said his department arrived at the shopping center around 2:30 p.m. Sunday to evacuate shoppers.
"Two canines cleared the building and nothing was found," he told NEWS CENTER Maine.
Drouin said the Walmart reopened around 4 p.m., and the investigation is ongoing.
