PORTLAND, Maine — Police are investigating after gunfire was reported in the area of Pleasant and Forest Avenues in Portland Monday afternoon.
Portland police responded to a "report of shots being fired from multiple people in multiple vehicles" just after 3 p.m., according to a news release from the Portland Police Department. Officers confirmed firearms were discharged.
The incident is being investigated by patrol units and detectives at this time.
