Heavy rain and melted snow is only adding to high tide flooding Saturday morning in Portland. Portland Public Works and Portland Police were near popular wharves to make sure traffic avoided the area.
People nearby stopped for pictures on Portland Pier as water crept up to J's Oyster House.
High tide Saturday was 10:06 a.m. at 11.1 ft, according to US Harbors. Next high tide is at 10:45 p.m. with slightly less flooding expected.
