PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Portland Police are investigating a shooting that happened late Tuesday night.
It happened on Gilman Street. The investigation is at the Shalom House on Gilman Street, 98 Gilman Street and 88 Gilman Street.
Police said the Criminal Investigation Department is investigating the shooting.
Police haven't said if there are any injuries, but the state medical examiner removed a body from the building at 88 Gilman Street.
A police news conference has been scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday.
