PORTLAND, Maine — A man fell to his death off of a rock wall in Portland Wednesday morning.
On Thursday, police identified the man as 52-year-old Chris Clukey. His last known address was in Westbrook, according to police.
According to Portland police, it happened at a spot on Valley Street that is known for drinking behavior.
On Wednesday, police on the scene told NEWS CENTER Maine they think Clukey was drinking at the time he fell but did not provide any further information about the circumstances of his death. They did say they do not believe the death is suspicious. The cause and manner of Clukey's death will be determined by the office of the chief medical examiner.
