PORTLAND, Maine — Police are seeking information about a shooting in Kennedy Park on Monday.
It happened shortly after 4 p.m., Portland police spokesperson Brad Nadeau said in a news release Tuesday.
Nadeau said witnesses told police a silver SUV with two males drove into the area and fired a gun at another male, who was in his car. The suspects quickly fled the area in the direction of Cumberland Avenue, according to the release.
Witnesses said the driver was wearing a black T-shirt and the passenger was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt at the time of the shooting, according to Nadeau.
