PORTLAND (NEWS CENTER Maine) -- A Westbrook man is now facing murder charges in connection to last month's shooting on Oxford Street in Portland.
This morning police charged 19-year-old Tyrese Collins with the murder of 45-year-old Jack Wilson of Portland.
Collins was arrested last Friday on a bail violation.
Wilson was shot around 10:30 p.m. on Oxford Street near Elm Street on June 26.
After the shooting Wilson was taken to Maine Medical Center, where he died on July 3.
Police said an autopsy found Wilson died from trauma received from the gunshot wound. His death was ruled a homicide.
