Mayor Ethan Strimling has bet Portland, PA mayor Lance Prator that the Patriots will win the Super Bowl.

If they don’t, Strimling told Prator he will send him Portland-made gin, a beer sampler, and live lobsters. If the Patriots win, Prator says he will hand deliver Strimling Yuengling Beer, a Philly cheese steak, and a handmade slate clock.

Two fun facts: Portland, Maine was founded first. It also has 116 times the population of Portland, PA.

Mayor Prator raised the [cheese]stakes, if you will, and challenged Mayor Strimling to shave his head if the Patriots lose.

Strimling reluctantly agreed after Prator complimented his “gorgeous locks,” and one thing is for sure – one of these mayors will be bald on February 5.
