Update: Brownfield woman reported missing has been located

BROWNFIELD, Maine — Update

In an update Wednesday morning, Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss said the woman has been safely located.

She was found around 9:15 a.m. Wednesday walking along a camp road in Fryeburg, Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife spokesperson Mark Latti said in an updated release.

She was seen by a resident in the area who called 911, and Fryeburg police responded to the scene, according to Latti. Marble was examined and did not need further medical attention, and she returned to her family, Latti said.

Officials are searching for a missing woman in the Brownfield area.

The Oxford County Sheriff's Office said on Facebook the 69-year-old was last seen at about 12:50 p.m. Tuesday on Hampshire Road in Brownfield.

She was reportedly seen riding a red electric bike alongside her husband when she rode ahead of him and he lost sight of her. She was driving in the direction of Brownfield, deputies said.

She is described as 5-foot-2 and 145 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a white helmet and a pink long-sleeve shirt.

Her husband told officials that she has early-onset dementia.

Deputies ask anyone who sees her to call 911 immediately.
