KENNEBUNK, Maine — A missing Massachusetts woman was possibly seen in Kennebunk Monday night, according to police.
Olivia Colby, 27, of Westborough, has been missing since Thursday.
A witness told police he believed he saw Colby at the Kennebunk Cumberland Farms on Main Street around 8 p.m. Monday. She was with another woman and they drove away in a white, four-door sedan, possibly a Toyota Corolla or Prius, headed south on Route 1, the witness said.
Colby was reportedly wearing a pink, long-sleeve sweatshirt, short black shorts, and black shoes.
The witness saw a missing person flyer police posted on Facebook and called police, according to Kennebunk police Sgt. Kevin Schoff. Kennebunk police sent the security camera footage from the gas station to Westborough police, who are reviewing it.
The witness was unable to provide a description of the woman Colby was seen with, Schoff said.
"Hopefully we can find her," Schoff said. "The most people share, the greater chance she’ll be found."
Westborough police Lt. Cliff Luce said they do not believe Colby is in danger and officers are still investigating the exact reason for her disappearance. He said police are not aware of any health issues Colby might have.
"We are following up on all leads," he said.
Police said Monday she was last seen on Mountain View Drive in Westborough and could be in the Lowell, Massachusetts, area. Massachusetts State Police said her phone last pinged within 25 meters of her home in Westborough.
Colby's mother said in a Facebook post her daughter has not used social media or her phone since she went missing.
"We are frantic," she wrote.
Olivia Colby is 5 feet, 7 inches, and 120 pounds, has long brown hair with a red tint and brown eyes. She may possibly have a green army jacket, according to police. She has an eyebrow piercing above her right eye.
