EASTPORT, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- An eight-hour search of 14 acres of land yielded no signs of Marilyn Lehan Thursday.

Two cadaver dogs searched a property off Clark St. Thursday and found no sign of Lehan. Detectives said they have no plans to return to the property. However, additional searches at other locations are likely when new information surfaces.

Lehan lived with her husband on Clark Street from 2002 to 2004. Family members think she might have moved in 2004, but they're not sure. They haven't heard from her since then. Shortly after Lehan went missing, the house was foreclosed on, and her husband has moved to California.

Family members officially reported Lehan missing to Eastport Police last summer. They said it wasn't unusual for her to be out of touch for a while, but they had tried and failed to locate her many times.

Lehan is 59 years old. She's 5'9" with brown hair and brown eyes. If you have any information about her, you're asked to call State Police Detective Micah Perkins at 1-800-432-7381.
