PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- A New Hampshire man accused of entering a Saco home and shooting two people entered a not guilty plea to federal charges Wednesday.
Gregory Owens appeared in court on charges of interstate domestic violence and firing a gun. Police said Owens drove from New Hampshire to Saco, Maine in December and broke into a home where his wife was staying. He then allegedly shot her and one of the homeowners, Steve Chabot.
Both Chabot and his wife, Rachel Owens, survived the attack.
Owens is also facing attempted murder charges in Maine.
