Missing child last seen Thursday morning found safe, Winslow police say

WINSLOW, Maine — A missing boy that had last been seen Thursday morning has been found safe, according to Winslow police. 

Winslow police said Thursday afternoon they were searching for a missing child that had last been seen at his home around 10 a.m. Thursday morning and may have left on a bicycle. 

In an update around 8 p.m., police said the child had been located in Waterville and was safe. 

The child was said to have frequented the Winslow and Waterville areas.
