(NEWS CENTER) -- Marine Mammals of Maine officials say they have rescued young Harbor seal entangled in fishing line a couple of days ago.
Officials say the material was wrapped around his neck, digging in to his skin and causing infection. They say he is also suffering from a severe respiratory infection. With some care and attention, the line was removed and the healing process has begun before he can be transported for long-term care.
