Man turns himself in for felony warrant

PORTSMOUTH, New Hampshire (NEWS CENTER) -- Portsmouth Police have charged a man with numerous crimes after he surrendered himself to authorities Thursday.

Hubert "JR" Hartley turned himself in on a felony level warrant that was initiated by the Portsmouth New Hampshire Police Department. Officials charged Hartley with two counts of criminal liability for conduct of another, which stem from crimes his nephew, Terrance Hartley, committed. Those crimes include burglary and assault. Terrance Hartley is facing a minimum of two consecutive seven and a half to 15 year sentences in prison.

Hubert Hartley posted $10,000 in cash for bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in the Portsmouth District Court November 3. Information concerning this crime is urged to be brought to the attention of Detective Adam Kozlowski.
