BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Bangor police arrested a man Friday on domestic violence and drug charges.
Police said a woman came to the Bangor Police to report she had been assaulted after she confronted her live-in boyfriend about a text message on his phone. The man allegedly threatened to kill the woman if she reported it to police. The woman also reported the man, 19-year-old Tyler Williams, had a secret marijuana grow operation in their apartment. She also said he had heroin, pills and other drug paraphernalia in the apartment.
After investigating, police arrest and charged Williams with domestic violence assault, domestic violence criminal threatening, cultivation of marijuana, illegal possession of heroin, possession of schedule W drugs (Suboxone, Adderall and Vyvance).
The Penobscot County Jail is currently holding Williams.
