PITTSFIELD, Maine — Maine State Police troopers received a call Wednesday night from an elderly driver who said she lost her purse while driving on Interstate 95. Luckily, K-9 Geno was quick to assist.

The woman said she traveling southbound on I-95 between Pittsfield and Augusta when she lost her purse, Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss said in a Friday release.

"The driver had to pull over due to a medical emergency, and in the process, her purse was lost on the side of the interstate," according to the release.

The purse was promptly returned to "its grateful owner."
