Livermore Falls couple arrested in meth bust

A Livermore Falls couple is sent to jail on charges of operating a meth lab out of their home

LIVERMORE FALLS, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- A home in Livermore Falls was identified by agents of the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency as the 13th meth lab they have raided this year.

Drug agents wore protective gear as they spent Saturday morning searching for evidence of the operation at 249 Fayette Road. It is the home of 44-year-old John Josey and 35-year-old Christina Stanford. They were arrested on drug charges on Friday, along with 29-year-old Brittany Pomerleau from Jay. All three are in jail with bail set at $10,000.

Drug agents said more arrests are likely as their investigation continues.

A teenager who also lives at the home in Livermore Falls was not present when drug agents made their raid. As in such cases when the well-being a minor is involved, assistance was requested from the Maine Dept. of Health and Human Services.
