LEWISTON (NEWS CENTER Maine) --
Tuesday night’s severe weather moved Lewiston's National Night Out movie showing indoors.
Event organizers shifted locations from the middle school field to the Androscoggin Bank Colisee because of storms in the area.
500 people still made it to the event which was part of a nationwide effort for police departments to bridge gaps in their communities.
The movie shown on Tuesday was the 2017 version of Jumanji.
On August, another movie, Black Panther, will be shown at Pettingill School Park.
