LEWISTON, Maine — Police are responding after a pedestrian was struck by a truck in Lewiston Tuesday night.
The crash happened in the area of College Street. A section of the road between Fortin Way and Champlain Avenue is closed while crews respond to the scene.
Law enforcement at the scene told NEWS CENTER Maine a crash reconstruction team has been called.
No information has been released regarding possible injuries.

The crash comes as many families are dealing with the loss of 18 community members in a mass shooting in Lewiston last week.
