Three patients injured in the Lewiston shootings on Oct. 25 remain in the care of Central Maine Medical Center. Of the three, only one is in critical condition.

LEWISTON, Maine — One person injured in the Lewiston mass shooting on Wednesday, Oct. 25, remains in "critical" condition, Central Maine Healthcare said Wednesday.

CMH said in a news release Wednesday that three patients injured in the shootings at Just-In-Time Recreation and Schemengees Bar and Grille Restaurant remain in the care of Central Maine Medical Center.

"Of the three remaining patients at Central Maine Medical Center (CMMC), two are now in stable condition. One remains in critical condition," the release stated.

After the tragedy, 13 patients were taken to CMMC, and of those 13, three patients died at CMMC, and one was transported to Mass General Hospital. While three remain in the care of CMMC, the rest have been discharged, according to CMH.

In total, 18 people lost their lives in the Oct. 25 shootings.
