SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Kids of all ages kept their eyes on the sky Sunday for the 6th annual Bug Light Kite Festival.
The festival, sponsored by the South Portland Historical Society, is a chance for people to talk to some of New England's kite experts!
Members of professional kite clubs brought their thousand-dollar kites to the park for a day of flying.
They taught younger generations how to get their kites in the air and even did on-site repairs to those that couldn't avoid the ground for long. For some, it's not just a hobby - but a way of life.
