Bangor International Airport Director Tony Caruso said, “BGR has had larger aircraft, such as the largest, the Antonov 225, but that is a cargo aircraft.”

Caruso said the airport can handle any military and commercial aircraft in service today. Caruso said that is due to the runway and taxiway system, infrastructure, facilities, equipment and personnel (which includes Gov’t Agencies, Police, Fire, EMS, etc., and airport).
