WASHBURN, Maine — Maine State Police are continuing to investigate the disappearance of a 36-year-old woman from Washburn who went missing in 2021.
Attiin Shaw, who is originally from Indonesia, was living with her in Washburn since early 2020, Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss said Tuesday in a news release.
"Attiin was last known to be living with her husband and four children in Washburn in late 2021," the release stated. "Attiin was reported missing to the Washburn Police Department near the end of 2021 and the State Police became involved in early 2023."
Moss said investigative efforts show no indication that Shaw is living at another address or location.
On Tuesday, the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit North was at Shaw's home on Washburn Road to further investigate the case.
Moss added that no additional information regarding the investigation is being released at this time.
State police ask anyone who may have information about Shaw's location to contact the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit at 207-532-5400 or toll-free at 1-800-924-2261.
