Hallowell Police looking for Vaughan Woods flasher

Police said they suspect there are more victims.
Hallowell Police Chief is asking for the public's help in identifying a man who exposed himself to at least two women.

HALLOWELL, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Police in Hallowell are looking for a man they said exposed himself to at least two women along walking trails in Vaughan Woods.

"We know that somewhere, somebody knows...who this looks like or even who it is," said Hallowell Police Chief Eric Nason.

The man is described as being in his late 20's or early 30s. He is said to be around 5' 8" with a blonde bushy beard. The victims told police he was wearing khaki pants , a plaid shirt and a toboggan style hat.

Police received two reports involving the man, 18 months apart. Nason, however, suspects there have been more.

"It seems to me that there are probably other incidences out there that just haven't been brought to our attention," said Nason.

Police are posting the man's sketch along with warning signs around the entrance of Vaughan Woods.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Hallowell Police at 622-9710.
