Responding to the sound of gunshots at a home in Buxton, police arrest Micah John Ross

BUXTON, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Police arrived to find a woman screaming at a home in Buxton where gunshots had been reported.

Police went to the home at 47 Charles St. on Sunday morning. Two men and two women were inside.

Police said one of the men refused to reveal his name or date of birth. Police later identified him as 29-year-old Micah John Ross of Buxton.

Police said their investigation also revealed that Ross had been extremely intoxicated when he fired a rifle from the porch of the home on Charles Street.

Ross was already subject to bail conditions from a previous incident before his arrest on Sunday which carries charges of reckless conduct with a firearm, violation of conditions of release and failure to give a correct name and date of birth.

Ross is being held at York County Jail with bail set at $6,000.
