PORTLAND, Maine — A gas main break closed Deering Oaks between Park Street and Falmouth Street, Portland Fire Chief Kevin McGuire said.
The gas company is now on scene and is expected to dig up the road to repair the break.

The Portland Fire Department has been on scene since about 5:30 p.m. according to Chief McGuire.
