WESTBROOK, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Westbrook PD says a gas leak has shut down multiple roads and evacuations are under away in Westbrook, Monday.
Police are closing Main Street between the Westbrook Arterial and Stroudwater Street until fire officials can fix the leak.
Police say the gas leak started at a construction site and all nearby buildings are being forced to evacuate.
Traffic is affected by this leak and all drivers need to find alternate roads.
