ELLSWORTH, Maine — The Ellsworth Fire Department rescued one juvenile after falling through the ice on Graham Lake in Ellsworth at 2:47 p.m. on Sunday, according to the Maine Warden Service.
Sgt. Alan Gillis said three other juveniles also fell through but were able to get out of the water on their own.
Three of the four were taken to the hospital for concerns of hypothermia, he said. Their conditions are unknown.
Gillis said all four juveniles knew each other and were running away from a local group home.
