CALAIS, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Roy Wise, a federal law enforcement officer assigned to the Cutler Naval Facility and former police officer, was arrested by the State Police Computer Crimes Unit Thursday night following an in-depth investigation.
Wise, 49, was suspected of viewing child porn on his work and home computer and is charged with one count of possession of sexually explicit material of someone under the age of 12.
Following his arrest, he was taken to the Washington County Jail.
There is no indication any of the images were children from Maine.
