SAINT GEORGE (NEWS CENTER Maine)-- Some Maine fishermen are alive tonight and it's all thanks to help from the Maine Marine Patrol and U-S Coast Guard.
Crews pulled a commercial fishing boat to safety after it started taking on water off of Saint George. The crew on board the 40-foot vessel was two hours away from its port when they called for help.
The Portland Press Herald reports that the Coast Guard only needed to stay at the vessel's side as an escort for most of the trip.
