SEARSMONT, Maine — Two people were injured in a fire at a Searsmont residence on Thursday.
The Waldo County Regional Communications Center told NEWS CENTER Maine five stations responded to a fire at 163 Ghent Rd. in Searsmont Thursday evening.
Dispatch said the fire marshal's office was at the scene and investigating as of 10:30 p.m.
The extent of injuries is currently unknown. At least one person was brought to the hospital, according to dispatch.
