WESTBROOK, Maine — One furry family got some help from Westbrook firefighters on Thursday morning after they became trapped inside a dumpster.
Westbrook Professional Firefighters wrote in a Facebook post they were called for a report of "a family" stuck inside the dumpster at the fire station.
"Upon investigation a friendly family of raccoons were found," the post said.
Firefighters placed a ladder into the dumpster. and the cute critters were able to climb out without injury, according to the post.
"Overall it was a successful rescue!" the post said.
