FARMINGTON, Maine — Agencies from multiple towns responded to a barn fire in Farmington Thursday night.
It happened around 10:45 p.m. on Holley Road, according to a social media post by the Farmington Fire Department.
Upon arrival, crews found a fully engulfed barn that was attached to a house. Firefighters were able to limit damage to the main house, and all occupants made it out safely, the fire department said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
NEWS CENTER Maine reached out to the fire department for more information but the chief was not immediately available.
Fire departments from Wilton, New Sharon, Jay, Chesterville, Temple, Strong, New Vineyard, and Industry provided mutual aid, along with NorthStar Ambulance and Farmington police.
