AG: Ex-NH bank manager stole nearly $100K from client

Britt Landsperger is accused of stealing $97,000 from a customer.

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (NEWS CENTER Maine) — A former bank manager in New Hampshire has been charged with seven felony counts of theft, accused of stealing nearly $100,000 from a customer in their late 60s over a six-year period, the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office announced Friday.

Britt K. Landsperger, 46, of Stratham, was arrested Friday.

According to the AG's office, Landsperger is accused of obtaining or exercising unauthorized control over money from seven bank accounts belonging to a 68-year-old woman, who was not identified.

From 2013 to 2018, the AG's office alleges Landsperger with the purpose to deprive removed more than $1,500 from each account, totaling more than $97,000 from all accounts.

The AG's office and the Portsmouth Police Department jointly investigated the case.
