BRUNSWICK, Maine — A fatal rollover crash in Brunswick that happened Saturday night is under investigation.
Brunswick police and fire personnel responded to the intersection of Pleasant Street and Range Road for a rollover vehicle crash around 10:20 p.m., according to a news release from the Brunswick Police Department.
A vehicle was found with extensive damage and rolled over onto its side.
An initial investigation revealed the vehicle had been traveling on Range Road toward Pleasant Street when it went through the yard of a nearby home and rolled over onto Pleasant Street, police said.
Lifesaving measures were performed for the driver of the vehicle, who police identified as 53-year-old Marco Navarro of Brunswick. Navarro died from his injuries, police said. He had not been wearing a seatbelt during the crash and was thrown from the vehicle.
Police said Pleasant Street was partially closed for several hours while crews responded.
