DEXTER, Maine — A teen from Penobscot County who had been reported missing has been safely located, officials say.
Dexter police were working with Maine State Police to locate the 15-year-old, who had last been seen at her home in Dexter around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss said in a 10:28 a.m. release Monday.
In an update at 11:12 a.m. Monday, Moss said the teen had been safely located.
The teen was reported to have left her home on foot Saturday, according to Moss.
