PORTLAND (NEWS CENTER Maine) — A corrections officer at the Cumberland County Jail has been arrested and is being charged with drug trafficking.
Officials say they seized cocaine from the 22-year-old Davis Glazener when he was arrested Tuesday night, Oct. 25.
Glazener was taken to the York County jail and was not granted bail. The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office says they continue to investigate the case and expect additional charges to follow.
Glazener was to be arraigned at Cumberland County court on Wednesday at 1 p.m.
According to the Cumberland County Sheriff Kevin Joyce, Glazener had been a Cumberland County corrections officer for two years.
Joyce said the drugs were found at Glazener's home and had no connection with the Cumberland County jail.
