LISBON, Maine — Fire crews in Lisbon had quite a busy afternoon on Thursday.
At approximately 2:30 p.m., crews were called to a reported brush fire in the area of 735 Lisbon St., according to a Facebook post from the Lisbon Fire Department.
Durham Fire and Rescue was called to assist with the "terrain and lower daytime staffing," the department said.
Crews were then called to a reported structure fire in the area of Ferry Road as they were cleaning up from the initial brush fire.
Once on scene, Lisbon police reported the fire was actually a woods fire, not a structure fire. Fire crews were able to contain and extinguish the fire, the department said.
