YORK, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- A tractor trailer hit a York County Sheriff's Office van Tuesday morning in Alfred. The corrections officer driving the van involved in the crash was driving with a suspended license.
State Police said the van, driven by Roger Lanoie, was pulled over on Route 111. A tractor trailer truck was traveling behind the van, and as driver Edward Reilly came close to the van, he saw an oncoming car swerve into his lane.
Reilly's tractor cleared the van, but the trailer on his truck hit the driver's side of the van.
Brian Maddox, the only passenger in the van, was brought to Goodall Hospital for back pain. Lanoie was also driven to a hospital for minor injuries.
Lanoie was charged for Operating After Suspension of his driver's license. Reilly was also charged - with Failure to Maintain Control of his Vehicle.
