BANGOR, Maine(NEWS CENTER) -- A man from the town of Corinna has been sentenced to six months in jail for his part in a huge marijuana growing operation in Washington County.

Fifty-two-year-old Robert Berg was also ordered to pay $10,000 for his role in the operation. He pleaded guilty back in January to accessory after the fact to manufacturing 1,000 or more marijuana plants. He was also charged with harboring illegal aliens for hiding illegal workers after federal agents raided the pot farm. The pot farm was in Township 37 in Washington County and when it was raided back in 2009, federal agents found 3,000 pot plants worth millions.

Berg was also the owner of Berg's Sportswear in Corinna. A federal investigation found that the screen-printing company illegally created fake logos of sports teams. He was ordered to pay nearly $12,000 in restitution and $10,000 in fines for that case.

The three other co-defendants in the marijuana growing operation, Malcolm French, Rodney Russell and Kendall Chase, are scheduled to be sentenced, along with Haynes Timberland Inc., the firm that owns the land where the farm was located. Those sentences are expected to come down on Sept. 30 in federal court in Bangor.
