CLINTON, Maine — The American Red Cross is assisting a family after a fire at a home in Clinton.
Clinton Fire Chief Travis Leary told NEWS CENTER Maine the call to 45 Tardiff Road came in around 7:20 a.m. Wednesday. Upon arrival, firefighters saw flames inside the single-wide mobile home, Leary said.
One of the two people who lived in the home was there at the time of the fire and was able to escape with several pets. However, one cat was lost in the fire, according to Leary.
Nobody was injured, Leary said.
The fire remains under investigation by the Office of the State Fire Marshal.
